Welcome to ASCS Cats

The Animal Sanctuary & Care Society (ASCS) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that has been rescuing and re-homing homeless cats in Marin County, California for over 14 years. After over a decade of re-homing more than 900 cats, unfortunately ASCS no longer facilitates adoptions due to lack of personnel. We are now exclusively a foster-care service that currently cares for cats in our loving sanctuaries in Sausalito and Fairfax. Many of our rescues were strays, abandoned or scheduled to be euthanized at shelters. We provide them with the necessary medical attention and care for the rest of their lives. Animal Sanctuary & Care Society is a "no kill" organization. We believe in spaying and neutering to limit over-population and reduce the suffering of homeless of cats.
